S.V.D. Gems Company Limited was found in April 2001 under the cooperation of the two brothers, Mr. Saravuth (Hong) and Mr. Seksan (Hua) Vuthipanyakom. Our products focus on rubies and blue sapphires from one carat size up to big size. With management possessing over 20 years of experience in the industry combining with strong team composing of young and new generation, we are now ready to serve domestic and international traders worldwide with variety of products and friendly service.

COMPANY BACKGROUND
 

1981 - S.V.S Gems Limited Partnership was founded on the 6th Floor of Biya and Sons Building by Mr. Saravuth Vuthipanyakom and his former partner. It was the first step to start doing our own business after spending many years to gain experiences in the business.

1987 - The company was relocated on the main business road, Silom Road and renamed to S.W.D.(Sawasdee Sang) Import Export Co., Ltd. to emphasize the high success of the company, both on retail and wholesale.

1998 - Mr. Saravuth with his team started the next step moving forward internationally to Basel Fair, World Watch and Jewellery Show in Switzerland, which is the biggest and most well known of Gems and Jewelry exhibition in the world.

2001 - S.V.D. Gems Company Limited was founded on Mahaesak Road, Soi 1, the center of Gems business by Mr. Saravuth and Mr. Seksan Vuthipanyakom to serve wholesale customer with wide range of products. S.V.D. Gems Export Co.,Ltd, the gemstone showroom, was founded at the same time to meet the demand of retail customers with various kinds of precious stones on the Silom Road.

   
   
  S.V.D. GEMS is divided into two sections at two different locations: the wholesale section on Mahaesak Road Soi 1 and show room under the name of S.V.D. Gems Export Co., Ltd. on Silom Road. Both divisions have been made in order to facilitate wholesale and retail customers, while addressing their separate needs.


Wholesale Section
 

The emphasis of our wholesale section is on trading over 1 carat rubies and blue sapphires in all shapes and levels of quality with our high turn over stock of Burmese ruby in the most popular calibrated size to free size and various quality of big size single stones in commercial quality and gems quality

For blue sapphire, our full stock of different quality and shade is provided to meet all kinds of customer need with quaranteed quality, nice cutting and reasonable price.

Our wholesale section offers a huge variety of quality ruby and blue sapphire including:
  • Cut Ruby (from Burma) from 1 cts. up to 15 cts. in every shape (Oval, Pear, Heart, Octagon, Round, Marquise, Fancy) and also calibrated ruby in 5x4, 6x5, 7x5, 8x6, 9x7 in Oval and Pear Shape.
  • Cut Blue Sapphire (from Ceylon and Madagascar) from 1 cts. up to 20 cts. in every shape.


Showroom Section
  Our company has opened a showroom on Silom Road in order to display our products to retail customers with more variety of product.; not only cut ruby and cut blue sapphire but also pink sapphire and other kinds of precious stones.

The merchandise available in our showrooms include:
  • Cut Burmese Ruby, both calibrated size in less than one carat and free size from one carat to 20 carats.
  • Cut Blue sapphire, both from Sri Lanka and Madagascar from 0.50 carats to 20 carats.
  • Cut African Ruby in free size from one carat size up.
  • Cabochon ruby and cabochon blue sapphire from 1 carat size up.
  • Pink Sapphire, both calibrated size in less than carat size and free size from one to two carats size
  • Fancy Sapphire, calibrated size in less than carat size to two carats size
  • Other kind of precious stones, for example Jade, Rubellite, and so on.
